From our base in Bracebridge, Hull Interior Finishings hangs, tapes, finishes and repairs drywall for homes, cottages, additions and custom builds across Muskoka—including Huntsville, Gravenhurst, Port Carling and Rosseau. Visible seams, nail pops and wavy corners show as soon as light hits a wall. We hang board properly, tape and mud every joint, and sand to a smooth finish ready for paint.

Most of our installation and taping work is on new builds and additions. The work follows a fixed order: assess the space, hang or repair, tape and coat, sand, and clean up. Drywall Installation

On arrival we check framing, openings and how new board will meet existing walls or ceilings.

Prep: stage sheets and confirm the substrate is ready to hang.

Work: hang board on walls and ceilings with proper fastening and joint layout for new construction, additions, basements and cottages.

Finish handoff: seams are ready for tape and mud on the next pass with the same crew.

Cleanup: scrap is bagged; the area is left clear for taping.

You receive board hung straight and fastened properly, ready to tape.

Taping & Finishing

On arrival we inspect hung board for fastening, gaps and corners before tape goes on.

Prep: wipe dust from joints so tape bonds cleanly.

Work: tape every seam and corner, then apply compound in thin coats—bedding, fill and finish—with drying time between coats.

Finish: sand to a smooth, paint-ready surface with clean inside and outside corners.

Cleanup: sanding dust is contained and removed so paint can start clean.

You receive seams that stay hidden once primer and paint go on.

Drywall Repair

On arrival we assess holes, cracks, water-stained board and old fixture openings with you.

Prep: protect floors and nearby finishes, cut back to sound board, and keep the surrounding area clear.

Work: patch or replace board, tape, and build compound feathered into the existing wall.

Finish: sand flush so the repair is paint-ready.

Cleanup: debris bagged; work area wiped.
